You look different, Sonic! New haircut? No?
After the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog movie's first trailer debuted back in April, fans were not exactly thrilled with the iconic video game character's design. But it was still shocking when--in what was no doubt a very expensive move--Paramount decided to delay the film and redesign the titular hedgehog to be more in line with fans' expectations.
That pushed the Sonic movie to a February 2020 release, but it also gave it a much better chance of not totally pissing off everyone who's ever played a Sonic game. To illustrate the differences, we grabbed screenshots from the old and new trailers and put them side-by-side below.
