May December 20 be with you

We're only a month away from the close of the current trilogy of Star Wars movies. Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker arrives in theaters on December 20, and it will be the finale of both the current trilogy and the Skywalker Saga, which began with The Phantom Menace. The current trilogy introduced us to characters like Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron, Kylo Ren, BB8, and plenty more as well as expanding the stories on characters we already know and love.

This will be the longest movie in the Star Wars franchise, coming in a 155 minutes. Additionally, there have been a few new still images from the movie as well, showing off Rey training with a lightsaber. Now, the Star Wars Twitter account has revealed character posters showing off many of the main characters and giving us a good glimpse of some of the new heroes and villains for the movie.

Below, you'll see all the posters that have been revealed for the upcoming movie. If you're insterested in more from Star Wars, check out our reviews of Episode 1 and Episode 2 of The Mandalorian. GameSpot's Chris E. Hayner said that Episode 2 was "a significant improvement over the first episode. That's not to say 'Chapter One' was bad, because it wasn't. The tone and pacing of 'The Child,' however, was a big step forward."

Additionally, you can check out all the Star Wars Easter eggs from Episode 1 and Episode 2 of The Mandalorian as well. For more Star Wars, check out everything you can watch on Disney+ and the chronological timeline for all the Star Wars movies and TV shows.
