Entering its third holiday season, the Nintendo Switch continues to make waves and gain momentum. On top of 2019 being another solid year for Switch exclusives, Nintendo released the portable-only Switch Lite and an updated Switch with better battery life. Needless to say, Switch consoles, games, and accessories will be popular gifts this holiday season--and Black Friday and Cyber Monday will be the best time to shop for Switch products for others and for yourself.

With multiple retailer ads released already, we're noticing that Switch games and first-party controllers will be on sale for great prices that we wouldn't normally expect on Black Friday. But while console deals can be found, they aren't proving to be too terribly exciting so far. Hopefully, that will change in the coming weeks as more retailers release Black Friday ads. For now, check out the best Black Friday Nintendo Switch deals confirmed so far, from first-party games and accessories to familiar console bundles.

Nintendo Switch bundle with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and screen protector | $300

No, we haven't entered a time machine and gone back to Black Friday 2018. Nintendo is offering the same Nintendo Switch holiday bundle that was available last year. For $300, you can get the Switch and a digital copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Best Buy is also giving customers a free screen protector with their purchase. The potential snag with this bundle? It's the launch model Switch, which means you won't get the upgraded battery that comes with the newer Switch model released a few months back. That said, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is an incredible game that normally sells for about $50.

Nintendo Switch bundle with carrying case, charging dock, and $90 Kohl's Cash | $320

One could argue that this Switch bundle at Kohl's is better than the official Nintendo offer. The $320 bundle includes the updated Switch with better battery life, a carrying case ($20 value), and the PowerA Joy-Con Charging Dock ($25 value). While that may not sound amazing, you also get $90 in Kohl's Cash with your purchase. It's definitely a deal to consider, especially if you plan on doing some other holiday shopping at Kohl's.

Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons (Gray or Neon Red/Blue) | $60

Nintendo's pricey Joy-Con controllers will be down to $60 on Black Friday at Best Buy, Amazon, and Target, which is a nice savings of $20. It appears that only the original gray or neon red and blue Joy-Cons will be eligible for this awesome deal. Nevertheless, if you're gifting a Switch this holiday or want to have some multiplayer fun at your holiday party, you shouldn't pass up this deal.

Poke Ball Plus | $20

The Poke Ball Plus can be used as a controller in 2018's Pokemon: Let's Go, but it can also be used to "hold" one of your Pokemon pals in Pokemon Sword and Shield and take them with you on the go (presumably to earn experience points or special items). It also gets you Mew, a mythical Pokemon that can be transferred into Pokemon: Let's Go. Normally $50, the Poke Ball Plus will be heavily discounted to $20 at all major retailers during Black Friday. So if you're looking for a complementary gift to go with Sword and Shield, the Poke Ball Plus could be a solid option, and the price is right.

Nintendo Switch Online 12-month subscription | $15

A Nintendo Switch Online membership grants you access to online multiplayer, Tetris 99, and a huge library of classic SNES and NES games. Switch Online is also the only way to take advantage of cloud saves. The service is significantly cheaper than Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus already at $20, but Target is offering $5 off on 12-month Switch Online individual memberships this Black Friday.

The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild | $30

Certainly a contender for greatest game of all time, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild rarely drops lower than $45-$50 these days, and it's still often sold at full price. This Black Friday, all major retailers will have Breath of the Wild for $40. Meanwhile, Target will have Breath of the Wild for $30 as a doorbuster for a limited time. It's presumed that the price will go up to $40 after Thanksgiving Day (when Target's sale begins), so you'll have to act early and fast for this deal.

Super Mario Odyssey | $30

It's-a me, a good deal-io. I'm terribly sorry for that, but the wonderful Super Mario Odyssey will also be steeply discounted this Black Friday. Like Breath of the Wild, it'll be $40 at all major retailers and $30 at Target for a limited time.

Mario Tennis Aces | $30

I'm not going to mimic my favorite retired plumber for this one. That said, Mario Tennis Aces is a good Mario sports game, and the only one available on Switch at this time. Once again, it'll be $40 at all major retailers and $30 at Target as a doorbuster.

Splatoon 2 | $40

Though Splatoon 2 is more than two years old, it's still one of the very best multiplayer games on Switch. In addition to its highly entertaining online multiplayer suite, it has a pretty good single-player campaign and a fun cooperative mode. It'll be available at all major retailers for $40.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle | $15

The zany, XCOM-esque Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is on sale a lot, usually for around $30. But if you haven't pulled the trigger on any of the sale prices thus far, you can pick it up for the ridiculously low price of $15 this Black Friday at Best Buy and Target. It's a charming and hilarious turn-based strategy game starring your favorites from the Mushroom Kingdom and Ubisoft's extremely silly Rabbids.

Super Mario Party | $40

Every Nintendo console needs at least one Mario Party game to ruin friendships and cause emotional anguish at every unlucky break. Super Mario Party, while not one of the best games in the series, is still a good party game to play with friends and family. It has numerous different game modes and puts some fun spins on the classic board game format. It'll be $40 at all major retailers this Black Friday. Super Mario Party can only be played with one Joy-Con per person, so you may want to take advantage of the aforementioned Joy-Con deal if you pick up this game.

Octopath Traveler | $40

A lovingly-crafted ode to early-90s role-playing games, Octopath Traveler is one of the best turn-based games on Switch. The gorgeous art style features a clever blend of 2D sprites and 3D polygons and the combat is appropriately retro without feeling dated. For lovers of old-school Final Fantasy games, Octopath Traveler is a great buy at $40. You'll be able to find it at that excellent price at all major retailers.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition | $45

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt only recently released on Nintendo Switch, but you'll be able to save $15 at Best Buy on Black Friday. Though Geralt's brilliant third adventure doesn't look quite as pretty on Switch, it's still amazing that you can bring this massive action-RPG on the go with you. Since it's the Complete Edition, you'll get all of the stellar DLC, too.

Diablo 3: Eternal Collection | $25

Diablo 3 just feels right on Nintendo Switch. Like The Witcher 3, Diablo 3 was a late port that came years after other console versions. Still, the game makes full use of the Switch's hybrid console and handheld capabilities, delivering a rousing good action-RPG whether you're playing it on the TV or in handheld mode. I played Diablo 3 on three platforms before picking up the Switch version, but I still managed to play it for 50 hours on Switch. Diablo 3: Eternal Collection will be available for $25 at Best Buy this Black Friday.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze | $40

The Switch granted new life to Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, one of best Wii U games. A traditional 2D Donkey Kong Country through-and-through, Tropical Freeze excels thanks to superb level design, interesting bosses, and challenging platforming sequences. Tropical Freeze will be discounted to $40 at all major retailers this Black Friday.
