Smite’s biggest event of the year, Odyssey: Underworld, continues with brand new skins and content in this update

The huntresses of “RWBY”have entered the MOBA arena of Smite on Xbox One! In this divine crossover event, you can play as all four heroines of Rooster Teeth’s acclaimed animated series.

Ruby Rose, Blake Belladonna, Weiss Schnee, and Yang Xiao Long now face their greatest challenge yet: the powerful gods of ancient mythology. Can the huntresses stand up against gods like Zeus, Thor, and Sun Wukong?

Team RWBY comes to Smite thanks to the all-new RWBY Battle Pass. Purchase the Battle Pass and you can unlock a skin for all four huntresses: Ruby Rose Thanatos, Weiss Schnee Freya, Blake Belladonna Amaterasu, and Yang Xiao Long Terra. You’ll also enjoy announcer packs from the real voice actors, authentic “RWBY”music, a Zwei ward skin, and so much more. Banzai!

If that’s not enough “RWBY”content, you can also complete the Prestige Track to earn the Classic Ruby Rose Thanatos skin. This skin highlights Ruby’s outfit from season two of “RWBY.”

There’s more than just “RWBY” in this Smite update. We’re also addressing a popular community request: a long-awaited visual update for the Egyptian Goddess of Magic, Isis. This remodeled Isis has a completely new model, card art, rigging, and animation set. We have also changed her mastery, recolor, and shadow skins to match new model. Worried about losing the original Waswas look? It will be available for purchase in-game as the Classic Isis skin.

We’ll also be making major changes to the Norse Queen of the Valkyries, Freya. Since a 2018 ability rework, Freya has been the least played god in Smite. Based on this data and player feedback, it was clear that Freya’s rework had not achieved its goals of improving her playrate or win rate. As the team brainstormed on how to make Freya healthier for the game, we realized that the changes we were discussing would make Freya no longer feel like Freya. Given that, we’re taking a different approach and reverting Freya to as she was before the rework. We hope that everyone enjoys the revert and Freya shows up more often in the battleground. One last thing: Smite’s biggest event of the year, Odyssey: Underworld, continues with brand new skins and content in this update. My favorite is the M.O.U.S.E Force Ganesha skin, a fan favorite concept! You can find this skin and many more Odyssey skins like Code Breaker Osiris, Divine Machina Apollo, and more in-game. We’re also bringing back the classic Domination Adventure mode, which challenges players to control three points while engaging in divine warfare.
