New Haikyuu, the end of Attack On Titan, and the finale of the Rebuild Of Evangelion are just a few of things we can't w

From creepy to cute, 2020 is looking to be a banner year for anime with brand new series premiering, feature films debuting, and new seasons renewing. There's something for absolutely everyone in the mix.
We've taken stock and found the 10 new anime releases that have us the most hyped up for the new year, including the devilishly stylish and horrifying new Uzumaki anime, the long-awaited return of Haikyuu, final season of Attack On Titan, and the conclusion of the Rebuild of Evangelion. Which shows and movies are you most looking forward to next year? Let us know in the comments below.
Haikyuu!!: To The Top

Ready to get super invested in fictional volleyball all over again? The most popular sports anime in the world, Haikyuu!!, is returning for a fourth season in January of 2020. Subtitled To The Top, Haikyuu Season 4 will include two major "cours" or three-month broadcasted segments, meaning there will be mid-season hiatus before it returns in the spring or fall.
Uzumaki

Junji Ito's classic horror manga is getting a brand new adaptation next year with a four-episode series for the Toonami block of Adult Swim. Hyper-stylized to accurately bring to life Ito's iconic style and produced entirely and black-and-white, Uzumaki will be a can't miss anime event for any and all horror fans.
Plunderer

The post-apocalyptic fantasy manga Plunderer is set in a world where every person is assigned a "count" at birth, referencing any number of seemingly random details about their lives (think "number of compliments received" or "number of miles walked" and so on.) Over time, a person's count depreciates until they're finally left with zero, which puts them in mortal danger. The series' first-ever anime adaptation is kicking off on January 8, 2020.
Dorohedoro

If grungy, monstrous, Blade Runner-but-with-magic-flavored post-apocalyptic settings are more your speed, Dorohedoro is the story for you. Based on a manga series of the same name, Dorohedoro is finally getting its very own anime premiering in January 2020. Join Caiman, a man cursed to have the head of a lizard and no memory of his previous life, as he fights his way to the truth in the crumbling industrial wasteland of a place known as The Hole.
Beastars

It'd be reductive to call Beastars the manga version of Zootopia, but the premise is vaguely the same. A society of anthropomorphic animals divided between herbivores and carnivores with a fragile peace is challenged by a brutal murder. Beastars the anime actually premiered in the fall of 2019 in Japan, but will be hitting Netflix outside of Japan in 2020.
Attack on Titan Season 4

The final season of the horror-fantasy series, Attack On Titan, will be arriving in the fall of 2020 to wrap up any and all giant-killing plot lines left on the table. Set in a world constantly besieged by horrific, mutated "titans," Attack On Titan has held fast as one of the most popular series in the world since 2013.
Demon Slayer The Movie: Mugen Train

Demon Slayer, or Kimetsu no Yaiba, has been slowly snowballing in popularity for the last three years and with an anime adaptation that premiered in the spring of 2019, it's showing no signs of slowing down. While the show's first season may have wrapped up in September, there's still plenty of new anime content to look forward to just over the horizon with the series' first movie, Demon Slayer The Movie: Mugen Train, a direct sequel to the first season, hitting theaters in 2020.
Violet Evergarden Gaiden

Originally a light novel with an anime and film adaptation, Violet Evergarden is getting a second spin-off movie to follow up this year's OVA. Violet Evergarden Gaiden: Eternity and the Auto Memories Doll was released in Japan earlier this year and is scheduled for release outside of Japan in 2020. It will function as a "side story" to the original anime series that will introduce new characters.
Fruits Basket Season 2

The second anime adaptation of the classic manga Fruits Basket, which tells the story of a family cursed to turn into zodiac animals when hugged by the opposite sex, has officially been renewed for a second season after a hugely successful initial 25-episode run early this year. Fruits Basket Season 2 will premiere in 2020, and begin broaching into stories the original run of the anime never had a chance to adapt, promising a much more faithful recreation of the source material for die-hard fans.
Evangelion: 3.0+1.0

2019 was a big year for Neon Genesis Evangelion as it arrived on Netflix for the first time ever and it looks like 2020 is going to continue to trend. The fourth and final feature film, Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 will be released in June of next year, wrapping up the Rebuild Of Evangelion tetralogy.
